Job Description
ABB Critical Power Services Technician
As an ABB Critical Power Services Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to customers across the globe. Your expertise will help customers maintain optimal performance of their critical power systems, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime. You will work closely with our technical teams to develop customized solutions that meet our customers' unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on critical power systems
Provide expert technical assistance to customers
Develop customized solutions to meet customer needs
Maintain accurate records of service activities and communicate results to customers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Associates Degree with 7+ years of experience
Broad experience in Field Service or a related role, with a focus on Critical Power Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems)
OSHA 10, OSHA 30 training preferred; NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training preferred
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NETA, NICET, CompTIA, ABB, APC, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.) preferred
Candidates must have a valid work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US
