We are seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our Porsche San Francisco team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment for an exciting company.

An ordinary day of work may involve:

Receiving next repair or service job from dispatcher, advisor, team leader, or electronic technician terminal
Performing diagnosis and reporting back to management with required work and awaiting authorization
Reviewing vehicle history file and any factory bulletins that apply to vehicle make and model
Making notes regarding proposed and additional work on hard copy or technician terminal
Requesting parts required from the parts department after authorization
Completing authorized repairs and creating notes on hard copy or technician terminal
If required, performing test drive and restoring vehicle to original condition
Informing dispatcher, advisor, team leader, or electronic technician terminal of job completion
Taking all required and suggested training, keeping a record of classes and certification completed
Keeping informed of all safety guidelines of management and other agencies
Keeping the work area clean and maintaining the condition of both personal tools and shop tools
The ideal candidate has:

Minimum of 1-2 years' Service Technician experience
Porsche Service Technician experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Completion of technical training school or factory apprentice program
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Self-motivated and diligent
