About the Laboratory
The Ricardo-Gonzalez Lab is a dynamic and collaborative research environment focused on understanding how tissue-resident immune cells influence tissue physiology and function. We seek a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team, assisting in the daily operations of the lab and contributing to the success of ongoing research projects.
Key Duties:
Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparation of media, solutions, and reagents.
Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results, following established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks, and contribute to the development of research protocols and reports.
Collaborate with research teams to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project completion.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or two years of research experience.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including cell culture, PCR, and ELISA-like assays.
Familiarity with REDCap database and ability to use or learn it.
