Job Description
The State of California's California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients with mental health needs, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients with mental health needs, including medication administration, behavioral support, and daily living skills training.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Conduct regular observations and assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements:
Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
