We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer who can join our team and help us push the boundaries of scalability, latency, and quality. Our engineers employ their talent and tools to write the code that makes these experiences possible. They work multi-functionally with teams across Apple to build a seamless experience.

This role requires proficiency in software programming with Java or other object-oriented programming languages. Familiarity with technologies such as NoSQL databases, messaging systems, Solr/Elasticsearch, Redis, SQL, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes is highly valued. You should also have expertise in algorithms and data structures.

A key aspect of this position is your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. We need someone who can solve problems given incomplete or partial data and/or requirements. Additionally, you should be driven to deliver high-quality solutions consistently and quickly.
