Software Engineer

General Summary: We invite you to work on exciting web development projects in our beautiful and sunny San Diego location. The QCT Software Automation and Tools (QSWAT) group is seeking full-time engineers to work on Cloud computing, continuous integration and tools.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and test software in an Agile environment.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of academic or work experience.
Experience in object-oriented design and programming concepts.
Experience developing microservices.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience in web client-side frameworks such as ReactJS.
Development experience with Python, C#, or PHP on medium to large codebases.
Web development experience with frameworks such as Flask, ASP.NET Core, Django, or Laravel.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Practical experience with software configuration management tools such as Perforce or GIT.
Experience with SQL Server or related databases.
Experience with MongoDB or related NoSQL databases.
Experience with CI/CD applications such as Jenkins.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively, and document work thoroughly.
Ability to multitask and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
