We are seeking an experienced Class B Diesel Bus Mechanic to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses.
• Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
• Reconditioning and preventative maintenance of bus systems
• Inspections and road tests to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
• Warranty and repair documentation
• Detailed inspections and repairs of brake systems, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance
• Your own set of tools
• The ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and testing instruments
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends
• A valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• A CDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus, but not required
