Job Description
Reporting and Compliance Expert Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Reporting and Compliance Expert to join our team at Idaho State Job Bank. As a key member of our mortgage servicing department, you will be responsible for generating accurate and timely monthly accounting reports for investors. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure compliance with investor guidelines and company policies.
About the Role:
• Create and distribute daily and monthly loan-level reports to trustees, including Loan Modification Reports, REO Liquidation Gains and Losses, and Stop Advancing Reports.
• Balance cash received against cash remitted, tracking advance activity and preparing wire transfers.
• Forecast principal and interest advances for securitization on a monthly basis, using pooling and servicing agreements.
• Determine payment due dates by reviewing payment history and system postings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the reporting system of all changes of scheduled principal balances, stop codes, and reinstated loans.
• Review the pool to security reconciliation for discrepancies of loans to make necessary corrections.
• Analyze remittance differences between investor accounting reports and remittance reports to maintain cash in custodial accounts.
Requirements:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• One to two years of experience in investor accounting and reporting is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements is essential.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial.
