Accounting Analyst

This is a key role within the Finance team at Blue Cross of Idaho. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and recording monthly journal entries;
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and maintaining accurate accounting records;
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, statutory reports, and other reports;
• Cash analysis and forecasting to ensure adequate cash flow balances;
• Maintaining banking records and other treasury operations.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
• 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience;
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience;
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.

• A high level of attention to detail;
• The ability to critically review your own work and identify problems;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• A willingness to work collaboratively with the Finance team and other stakeholders.
