Senior Portfolio Underwriter

Job Description

At Idaho State Job Bank, we are seeking a skilled Senior Portfolio Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for managing and evaluating the performance of assigned portfolios.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who can provide technical underwriting support to field staff and collaborate with business partners to share portfolio insights.

The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of property and casualty commercial underwriting experience and a bachelor's degree. Additionally, they should have expert knowledge of underwriting coverages, processes, and risk analysis, as well as strong leadership skills to manage change and develop employees.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing underwriting, product, and operational business strategies to support the achievement of underwriting and production goals.
