Job Description
Avidity NanoMedicines is a dynamic and rapidly growing biotechnology company that is revolutionizing the field of RNA therapeutics. We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team, supporting a diverse range of subjects across multiple business process cycles.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, with experience in auditing roles or large national audit firms. A licensed CPA or in progress with the CPA Exam is also desirable. In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to think outside the box.
Responsibilities:
Prepare recurring journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analysis applicable to the group
Develop and maintain process documentation and integrate with other functions to optimize key processes
Have a customer service mindset when working with other groups and demonstrate a relentless approach to learning
