Maintenance Technician

Mr. C Coconut Grove is a luxurious hotel in South Florida, seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing major repairs and maintenance work to ensure the hotel's facilities are safe and operational. This includes maintaining the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems.

The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge and skills or certification within a field or discipline such as plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.

The role involves frequent standing, moving about the facility, handling objects and equipment, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling. Carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 100-300 pounds is also required.

Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs for assigned areas of expertise.
Ensure assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work.
Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations concerning safety or other compliance requirements.
Respond promptly to guest questions, complaints, and requests.
