Job Summary
This position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at UHealth/SoLé Mia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biomedical equipment installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains accurate medical equipment documentation, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
Supervises services provided by outside vendors to ensure quality and scope of services are met.
Provides technical guidance, mentoring, and training to other employees in the department.
Serves as a reference source for engineering and clinical staff with regards to appropriate procedures for the operation and maintenance of clinical equipment.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in biomedical equipment installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
