Software Quality Engineer

This requisition supports the F-35 line of business for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Orlando, Florida.

This position reports directly to the Senior Quality Manager of the Autonomic Logistics Information System / Operational Data Integrated Network (ALIS/ODIN).

The ideal candidate will work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with leadership, and possess advanced SW Quality Engineering skills.

This role may require occasional business travel.

Facilitate root cause identification, evaluate process/product performance, support continuous improvement, and interface with engineering, sustainment, and customer communities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Provide SW QA support for program peer reviews, audits, regression testing, integration & test, and functional sell-off.
Analyze and develop SW quality metrics.
Support other SW Quality Engineers as needed.
Interface with customers to ensure processes and products meet contractual requirements and company policies.
Support SW development in Agile frameworks using DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
Contribute to the ALIS/ODIN Quality team's activities related to the Quality Management System (QMS), AS+100 certification, LM21 Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and process audit program.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility requiring special access.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles.
Knowledge of AS+100, ISO +001 Quality Management Systems and Standards.
Experience with logistics information systems programs or large-scale transactional software systems.
LSS Black Belt or Green Belt Certification.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance after hire.
