Description of the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Transmission/Drivability Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing transmission issues in various makes and models of vehicles. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology to efficiently perform your duties.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair transmission and drivability issues in vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance on transmissions
• Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential transmission problems
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble transmissions
• Ensure all work is performed accurately and efficiently
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance
• Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems and operation
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certification is a plus
