Job Summary

2nd Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a well-known industry leader in Andover, MA. In this role, you'll maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including pick and place machines, screen printers, AOI systems, reflow ovens, and more. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure machine performance while assisting in the development of maintenance documentation and providing support to the engineering team. Additionally, you will mentor other technicians and help with process improvement.

Responsibilities

Generate metrics on equipment uptime, utilization, and overall performance of the work center as it relates to OEE.
• Work to improve, debug, and optimize machine programs, as well as optimize setups & changeovers to ensure full utilization of machine capacity.
• Assist in the development and improvement of equipment maintenance documentation.
• Provide support to the engineering manufacturing group; may be asked to conduct tests and studies to qualify new equipment/processes and verify the functionality of existing equipment/processes.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on VI Chip production equipment.

• Minimum 2 years of experience
