Gas Meter Retrofit Technician

Job Details
Texas Meter & Device is hiring for several full-time Gas Retrofit technicians (meter technicians) in the Greater Seattle/Woodinville area.

Job Responsibilities:
Retrofit a gas module to the existing gas register on residential and commercial class gas meters.
Use a work order management system to capture and enter site data.
Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Oversee the materials, equipment, vehicle, and tools; operate company vehicle in a safe manner.
Keep track of new and used inventory.
Proper use of a Hand-Held Device (HHD) to collect new meter data.
Manage daily client communications, data, and reporting.
Coordinate scheduling and meet quality/quantity requirements.
Provide courteous and excellent internal and external customer service.
Other duties and tasks as assigned or necessary.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record as technicians will drive company vehicles for routes each day.
Mechanical aptitude is necessary.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of personal or professional driving experience due to insurance requirements.
Must have work boots.
Must have own personal Smartphone.
Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening (which includes cannabis/marijuana screening) and I-+ documentation as required by law.
Ability to use hand-held device and other equipment as required for the position.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. The work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary.
Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner.
