Job Description

At Media.Monks, we're looking for a skilled Commercial Counsel to join our US Legal team. This role involves negotiating deals for the United States and Canada, providing practical, commercially-focused guidance and support to internal business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract drafting and negotiation, with 7+ years of experience working on commercial transactions. Key responsibilities include:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, Content & Vendor Agreements, Amendments, NDAs, etc.)
Analyzing and mitigating potential risks involved with specific contract terms
Partnering with internal legal counsel across the world to create contract policies and commercial strategy
Responsibilities

Negotiate deals for the United States and Canada
Provide practical, commercially-focused guidance and support to internal business stakeholders
Requirements

7+ years of experience working on commercial transactions
Demonstrated experience in digital advertising, content, and media
Strong knowledge of digital content, entertainment, contract, and commercial law
