Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and experience in performing advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures. You will be responsible for verifying physician orders, utilizing radiology information systems, explaining procedures to patients, and operating equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate care
Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding
Independently operate equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
Requirements:
Completion of a CAHEA-approved formal training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
