Job Responsibilities
As a diesel mechanic at Ryder, your responsibilities will include:
Performing routine preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic problems
Interacting with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
Performing facility maintenance duties
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A preferred
