Job Description

As an Assistant Event Coordinator, you'll support the event planning and execution process, assisting with logistics, vendor coordination, and event day operations, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for attendees. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the role:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning Support:
• Assist in developing event timelines, agendas, and schedules.
• Help with venue scouting and selection.
• Research and source vendors (catering, AV, decorations, etc.).
• Assist with creating and distributing event invitations and communication materials.
• Manage attendee lists, RSVPs, and registration processes

Logistics And Operations:
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely arrival and setup of equipment and services.
• Assist with event setup, including decorations, audio/visual equipment, and seating arrangements.
• Manage event day logistics, such as registration, guest flow, and handling unexpected issues.
• Help with event teardown and cleanup.

Communication and Collaboration:
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with event stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
• Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses.
• Collect and analyze feedback to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.

Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain event documentation and records.
• Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of event planning principles and practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
