This collection of iconic heritage buildings has been transformed, delivering an award-winning collection of restaurants and bars. COMO The Treasury is a 48-room contemporary luxury hotel providing elegant, restful bases for exploring Western Australia.
The Events and Weddings Executive plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional client experiences at State Buildings & COMO The Treasury. As the main contact for weddings and special events, this role manages everything from enquiry to handover, ensuring smooth transitions to the Event Operations team.
Responsibilities include responding to enquiries within 24 hours, offering personalised service, and coordinating with Event Operations to ensure accurate execution of confirmed events. Organising final detail meetings for weddings and introducing couples to the Venue Manager are also key tasks.
Managing event logistics, documentation, and administrative tasks is critical to the success of this role. Monitoring industry trends to stay competitive and assisting with pricing adjustments are additional responsibilities. Wedding open days and participation in external expos are facilitated to promote property exposure.
Collaboration with vendors ensures smooth event setup and breakdown, while maintaining event management platforms (iVvy, SevenRooms) and updating booking details are essential tasks. Providing a courteous and professional service to clients fosters strong relationships with guests and team members.
