Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant with at least 4 years' experience in a professional/commercial capacity gained within Australia to manage an assigned client portfolio with regular client contact.
">
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a complete range of services, including preparation of accounts, tax returns, Business Activity Statements, FBT, and other compliance matters for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
">
The role involves planning, preparation, and execution of financial statements with appropriate note disclosures, liaising with the ATO and other government departments, conducting tax interviews with clients, and preparing tax returns for Individual and Business entities.
">
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thorough thinking, and high attention to details, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
">
Familiarity with XERO and MYOB accounting software is essential, as well as intermediate knowledge and experience with company income tax and GST, and statutory reporting for BAS, Annual reports, ASIC, and ATO reporting.

About the Role

This is a full-time role offering an annual salary of $77,000 plus superannuation, with opportunities for career growth and development.

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary degree qualifications in Accounting
">
At least 4 years' commercial experience in MYOB & XERO Accounting software
">
Must have 4 years' intermediate knowledge and experience with company income tax and GST
">
Must have 4 years' experience with statutory reporting for BAS, Annual reports, ASIC, and ATO reporting
