Job Description

We are currently seeking a fulltime Accountant or Graduate Accountant to work within the WASO Business Services Team. You will manage the accounts receivable and payable system, maintain the cash receipt journals, the daily banking of monies and the accurate posting of cash receipts to the general ledger. You will also be involved in the reconciliation and preparation of monthly accounts.

Skills Required

To be successful you will need to have tertiary qualifications in either Accounting or Commerce, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a broad-based accounting role and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

You will also be able to demonstrate:



· Sound skills and ability in the use of PC based software applications including Microsoft Office;

· Advanced knowledge of Excel;

· Demonstrated experience with accounting software;

· Experience with Epicor would be favourable but not necessary.
