Job Description
Zenith is currently recruiting an Accounts Officer. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Accounts Officer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function, including, but not limited to, the processing of invoices, payment runs, statement reconciliation, employee expense claims, managing of company credit cards, invoicing customers, customer receipts and month-end accrual journals.
Responsibilities Will Include
Vendor/customer set up
Managing a large volume AP inbox
Coding and posting of the high volume of vendor invoices
Accurate and timely entry of invoices, credit notes, and customer payments
Reconciliation of supplier statements/accounts
Weekly payment runs
Fortnightly debtor reporting
Month-end entries, including accruals and other journals, as required
Handling queries from a variety of stakeholders and external venders and customers
Three-way matching of supplier invoices
Follow up of overdue customer accounts
About You
As the Accounts Officer, you will bring the following qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills to the role.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience
High Volume Processing
Ability to create a positive impression in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and keep team members updated on task progress
Exceptional data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
Pronto experience would be desirable
