Dutton Automotive is a Co-Major Partner of Essendon Football Club.An exciting full-time opportunity is now available for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Head Office Finance team. Based at our Richmond location, ideally, you will thrive in a busy office environment where multi-tasking and prioritising are essential. Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Ensuring all local invoices and payments are processed promptly and accurately.- Following up on any invoice disputes to achieve positive outcomes.- Maintaining high-standard relationships with local vendors and internal departments.- Setting up new suppliers.- Ensuring the appropriate sign-off/ authority for all payments is accurate when loaded into internal systems.- Sending remittance advice.- Performing monthly supplier reconciliations- Ensuring the stock number accuracy for each vehicle to cost freight.- Maintaining an up-to-date vendor file for transportation companies.- Delivering accurate and timely month-end processes by company standards.- Assisting with ad hoc queries.QualificationsYou will also have proven abilities in the following:- Previous experience in a similar role within the motor vehicle industry experience will be highly regarded- High level of analytical thinking and attention to detail.- Effective time management skills.- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.- Ability to follow due process and procedures.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others.Additional InformationBenefits and perks:- Opportunity to develop your skills and experience with one of Australia's most prominent brands.- Access to a fully funded Employee Assistance Program to support you and your family.- On-the-job training and support with real career progression.- Company-funded flu vaccinations.- Birthday Leave.- Refer a friend and we will provide an upfront bonus.- Annual family fun days held across the country.
