This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven expertise in managing accounts payable functions and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a strong control environment.- Conduct cost accounting analysis and provide insights to support financial decision-making.- Perform and review bank reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to accounts payable.- Monitor team performance, implement process improvements, and drive operational efficiencies.About You:- A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts team management, with a strong focus on accounts payable processes.- Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and bank reconciliation.- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve business objectives.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in financial accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).- Professional certification in accounting or finance (preferred).Benefits:- Employee discount.- Opportunities for career progression and development.- Supportive and collaborative work environment.If you are an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a passion for leadership and process improvement, click the APPLY button to take the next step.Pay: From $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:- Employee discount- Free drinks- Professional development assistanceSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shift- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- What's your expected annual base salary?- Have you completed a chartered accountant (CA) qualification?- How much notice are you required to give your current employer?Education:- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (preferred)Experience:- Accounts payable: 3 years (preferred)- Account reconciliation: 3 years (preferred)Language:- English (required)Licence/Certification:- Driver Licence (preferred)Work Authorisation:- Australia (required)Work Location: In person
