About the Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at the Bunbury Donor Centre. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting donors through their donation process while working collaboratively to achieve collection targets.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

">

Greeting and interviewing potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability for donation
">
Completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
">
Setting up machines, tubing, and collection bags
">
Inserting and removing needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
">
Couching and guiding other team members in the blood collection process
">
Managing adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
">
Monitoring donors post-donation and assisting them to rebook for their next donation
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications

">
To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
">
A current AHPRA registration
">
The ability to occasionally lift between +-22.7kgs
">
Frequent standing, walking, and bending to set up and pack down machines and blood products
">
Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Friday
">
