Job Description

The Clinical Nurse Midwife will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering competent midwifery and nursing care for patients and their families. This will involve using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the Maternity unit, acting as a clinical resource, and providing clinical supervision and support for Registered Midwives, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Student Midwives, Student Nurses, and Nursing Assistants.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will require advanced clinical skills and competencies related to Midwifery.
Skills in planning, coordination, and decision-making, with the relevant practice setting are necessary.
Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
The ability to incorporate quality and risk management within practice is crucial.
Well-developed team leadership and mentorship skills are required.
