Front-end Developer

Job responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and create scalable software solutions for different clients
Share your expertise with cross-functional teams and demonstrate effective solutions at both technical and business levels
Transform complex UI/UX design wireframes to actual HTML5/CSS3 code
Work closely with UI/UX developers and assist them in developing responsive website designs, extending and creating new plugins and themes
Troubleshoot issues and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Make sure to develop and deliver high-quality work following the development best practices and with a strong focus on detail

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience as a front-end software developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled engineers)
Excellent expertise in a wide range of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS platforms like Bootstrap
Good grasp of cross-browser compatibility issues and media queries
Proficient understanding of React/Angular principles
Experience working with complex codebases, systems & source code control systems like Git
Thorough understanding of core web markup tools
Ability to communicate fluently in English
The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills
Familiarity with Gimp or Photoshop
Expertise in Single Page Application design and implementation
Experience with Unix/Linux, including commands and scripting
Understanding of basic SEO principles
Experience in eCommerce development is a plus
Knowledge of Agile development principles and methodologies
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
