Job Overview:

As a Production Helper, you will play a crucial role in our plastic pallet manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting machine operators, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires a valid forklift license and involves tasks such as cleaning and managing loose plastic materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Machine Operators: Support machine operators by preparing materials, loading and unloading components, and ensuring machinery is stocked and functioning properly.
Material Handling: Operate forklifts (if licensed) to transport raw materials and finished plastic pallets within the facility. Ensure proper storage and handling.
Production Support: Conduct routine tasks including inspecting and sorting plastic materials, assisting with product assembly, and packaging finished pallets.
Cleaning and Shoveling: Regularly clean and shovel loose plastic materials from the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including the proper disposal of waste materials and debris.
Documentation: Accurately record production activities, material usage, and any incidents or discrepancies during shifts.
Additional Tasks: Perform any additional duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Supervisor to support production goals and operational needs.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not required.
Forklift License: A valid forklift license is mandatory.
Skills:
Basic understanding of production processes, particularly in plastic pallet manufacturing.
Ability to assist with machine operation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Experience or willingness to handle and clean loose plastic materials.
