Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures
Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
Install structures and fixtures such as windows and molding
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
Perform restoration work on old structures
Collaborate with other carpenters and tradespeople on construction sites
Experience

MUST HAVE:
Experience with Soffit/Fascia trim
Experience with Re+Re vinyl siding
Gutter installation experience
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
Personal tool set and CSA-approved safety gear
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
