Formwork Carpenter

Candidate attributes:

· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

· Detail oriented

· Safety Conscious

· Have a good work ethic and willingness to learn

· Basic understanding of constructions principles and procedures

· 3-5 years formwork construction experience

· A positive attitude

· Be able to lift 50-75 lbs

· CSTS & WHMIS safety tickets

Experience:

· Experience with a variety of forming systems including Peri, Aluma, Doka, Camlock & Gang forms.

· Experience with erecting and dismantling formwork for suspended slabs, columns, beams, cores, footings, walls, stairs, and raft slabs.

· Working at heights and ability to properly use fall protection equipment.

· Handle and install carpentry materials.

· Use and operation of required hand and power tools.

· Prepare forms based on sketches and verbal instructions.

· Work at heights and in all weather conditions.

· Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

· Erecting and dismantling scaffold systems.

· Complete task hazard assessments and maintain a safe work environment.
