Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide essential support and companionship for our elderly Mother. This role is vital in enhancing our mothers quality of life ensuring that she receives the care, attention and safety she requires in the comfort of her own home environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior and dementia care and demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation
Provide companionship and engage with client dementia activities like puzzles, painting and games to promote emotional well-being.
Support client with mobility assistance when needed
Maintain a clean and safe environment for client by performing light housekeeping duties.
Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family personal Directive/ employer.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines while providing care.
Experience

Previous experience in caregiving or home care and dementia care is preferred, particularly in senior care settings such as nursing homes or Dementia care homes.
Familiarity with patient care practices and an understanding of the unique needs of elderly clients with dementia.
A compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining client dignity and respect are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $1+.00-$21.+1 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
