Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in a hospital or clinical setting. This role involves providing therapeutic support to pediatric patients, utilizing specialized techniques to promote emotional and psychological well-being. The Therapist will engage in data collection and case management while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Provide therapeutic interventions and support in both individual and group settings.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in therapy for children.
Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across various services.
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
Experience working with children, particularly in a pediatric or hospital setting is preferred.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
At least 2years experience in clinic setting.
Strong skills in data collection and analysis relevant to patient care.
Familiarity with medical terminology and case management processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with children and their families.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $2+.32-$+7.78 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
