Gonzo Izakaya is currently hiring servers to join our FOH team.

At Gonzo Izakaya, we specialize in traditional Japanese cuisine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our mission is to provide an authentic dining experience that celebrates the flavors and culture of Japan. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated servers to join our team.

The Server is responsible for assisting guests to guide menu choice and presenting food and cocktail to the guests. The server leads in enjoyful conversation with the guests and gives them unique and unforgettable experience by their style and service.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
Present menus, explain dishes, and make recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
Ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set up for service.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverage offerings is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
A positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
