Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and mechanical systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively. Individual should have registered as 2nd year apprentice or above.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals, providing accurate assessments of vehicle conditions.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed, utilizing hand tools and equipment safely.
Conduct welding tasks for repairs or modifications as required.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs or parts handling.
