Job Description

Prestige Homes, a division of The Shaw Group Limited (one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies) has exciting opportunities for Construction Labourers to join our talented, driven, and fast-growing team. For over 50 years, Prestige Homes has been designing and building mini, modular, and multi-family homes to the highest quality and customer standards.


Responsibilities
Work in a factory setting using an assembly-line approach to residential building construction
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join common building materials
Keep work area clean to minimize hazards and disruptions
Assist tradespersons and other skilled construction labourers in construction activities
Safely operate pneumatic hammers and other power tools
Participate in safety tool-box meetings

Qualifications
Commitment to safety in the workplace, including knowledge and practice of workplace safety procedures
Proficient in the use of related tools
Previous carpentry or labourer experience is considered an asset
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with others or independently as required
