Plumber-M Engineering Services

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance duties throughout the hospital facilities, according to policies, procedures, legislated codes and regulations to support a functional, reliable, safe and comfortable health care environment.

Educational Requirements:

Minimum grade 12 education with current Province of Ontario Skilled Trade license in Plumbing and/or equivalent, with courses in Refrigeration, HVAC, Electricity, Mechanics and CAD/Blue print reading.

Qualifications:

Completion of an Apprenticeship program required
Ability to make decisions on proper use of material and means of effecting repairs
Flexibility to work all shifts on a rotating basis
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to communicate effectively
Accept a team atmosphere
A positive work and attendance record is essential
Ability to work cross-site
