Housekeeper / Cottage Attendant

We’re hiring! Join our team at Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill, a small family-run business with eight beautiful oceanfront cottages and two beachfront bunkies on two stunning beaches in the beautiful town of Lockeport.

The main responsibilities are:

Maintaining the high quality hospitality and service standards of Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
Provide high quality housekeeping services according to the standards outlined
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment used
Exceed the expectations of our guests
Use reservation system software for daily tasks and housekeeping duties, as needed
Clean guest accommodations, grounds, and complete daily laundry duties
Participate toward the positive work environment through teamwork & cooperation
Friendliness and sensitivity to guests’ needs
Report any maintenance issues to supervisor
Report to work on time and in full uniform
Respect and maintain guest confidentiality
Other cottage and/or on-site property projects and duties (painting, watering grounds, etc.) as assigned by supervisor
Eligibility:

A successful candidate would meet the following requirements:

Able to engage in physically demanding cleaning tasks
Work in an indoor/outdoor environment
Work well independently and harmoniously with other staff
Takes pride in your work
Friendly, enthusiastic individual, willing to contribute ideas and suggestions
Provides exceptional guest service skills & pays strong attention to detail
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work weekdays or weekends from 10am - 4 pm. Must be available for Saturdays and Sundays in July and August.

Pay: $1+.50 per hour
