Roofing Helper/Labourer Must have roofing experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Must be able to start ASAP

Helper with 2+ years of experience is an asset

Minimum 20 years old and able to provide SIN number

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (a ride can be arranged)

Must be able to start work as early as 7am (meet up around 6-6:30am if needing a ride)

Fall protection is preferred but can be supplied

Able to work on 2 storey, possibly steep roofs, as well as lift and carry 70 - 80lbs

Work Responsibilities

Show up on time to scheduled work site or a meeting point

Set up and use safety gear and tools in adherence to Occupational Health and Safety best practice guideline.

Maintain a clean and organized construction site by cleaning site of debris and hazardous materials on-going, before taking breaks and before leaving at end of day.

Follow any and all instructions from the foreman or Lead hand

Benefits & Wages

Tools will be provided

Wages depend on experience, speed, work ethic and attitude $17 - $22 per hour

Pay period is bi-weekly (Payroll)

Wage increases based on performance
