We are seeking a motivated and experienced Countertop Sales Representative/Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, providing exceptional customer service, and preparing accurate cost estimates for countertop projects. This role required a strong understanding of stone products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Customer Service:
Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and preferences for countertop materials and designs.
Provide detailed information about different stone products, their benefits, and maintenance requirements.
Guide customers through the selection process, offering design advice and solutions tailored to their projects.
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to prospective clients.
Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure a positive sales experience.
2. Estimating:
Visit job sites to take precise measurements and assess project requirements.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and other expenses to determine project pricing.
Prepare and submit detailed and competitive quotes to customers in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure accurate project scopes and timelines.
3. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, contractors, designers, and builders.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Ital-Stone Design and generate new leads.
Develop and maintain a customer database with detailed records of interactions, preferences, and project histories.
4. Project Coordination:
Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate install schedules with customers and the installation team.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or changes that arise during the process.
Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in sales and estimating
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and industry professionals.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, as well as standard office software.
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive customer-focused approach.
