Delivery Driver - Jerome's Appliance Gallery

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and efficiency. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles and handling freight, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients upon delivery.
Skills

Experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
Heavy equipment operation skills are beneficial for handling various types of freight. (Deliveries include large appliances weighing up to 650 lbs) (Shared weight)
Familiarity with freight handling procedures ensures efficient delivery processes.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
