Transport Driver

For five decades, Mrs. Dunster's has been a cherished family tradition in the Maritimes and Maine. As a local, family-owned bakery with operations in Sussex and Moncton, we take pride in our unique creations, exceptional customer service, talented teams, and unwavering commitment to our community.

As our company continues to grow, so is our fleet of tractor trailers. We have a need for a qualified tractor trailer driver based in or around Sussex N.B. Our company will be operating 2 tractor trailers with 3 drivers to share responsibilities for the following runs:

Sussex to Maine (return)
Sussex to Dartmouth (return)
Montreal (requires sleep over & return next day)
Cover local pick ups in Sussex and deliver to a customer in Moncton NB
The team of drivers will work together to cover these runs and must be flexible to fill in for vacations, sick time & last-minute pick up or deliveries when required.

Responsibilities:

Deliver fresh products to depots and unload them, load empty trays.
Complete some basic paperwork required to clear customs.
Operating E-Log
Perform pre-trip inspections and logbook completion.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to DOT regulations.
Drive late model tractor trailer.
Maintain service on truck and trailer and keep it clean (inside and out)
Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with 3+ years of tractor trailer driving experience and a clean driving abstract.
Require a valid passport, able to meet security & clearance requirements to cross US border.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dedication to customer service.
Energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor.
Neat and clean appearance.
