Cyber Security Engineer (Panelist )Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineer (15+ years) with deep hands-on expertise in designing and securing network and system architectures. This role involves leading security strategy, incident response, compliance enforcement, and candidate assessments as a panelist.

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, implement, and optimize security controls across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
• Lead penetration testing, risk assessments, and vulnerability management to identify and mitigate threats.
• Manage and enhance security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
• Conduct high-level security investigations, forensic analysis, and incident response for critical threats.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and other frameworks.
• Automate security workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Act as a panelist for hiring assessments, conducting technical interviews and evaluating candidates for cybersecurity roles.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide security best practices across teams.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and provide expert insights to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Experience: 8+ years in cybersecurity, security architecture, and incident response.

✅ Expertise in Security Tools: SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners.

✅ Cloud & Network Security: AWS, Azure, TCP/IP, firewalls, Linux/Windows hardening.

✅ Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CISM.

✅ Strong Leadership & Communication: Ability to assess candidates, mentor teams, and present security insights.
