Job Description

Develops, implements, and regularly monitors a comprehensive corporate warehouse plan for the CHF product distribution operation.
Manages warehouse expenses to meet budget requirements and take corrective action as required to meet corporate objectives;
Oversees the efficient operation of the CHF distribution centre;
Manages all incoming/outgoing inventory;
Works with Customer Service to manage the receiving of parts and the dispatch of parts to Service Technicians.
Reviews operating reports on a regular basis to ensure appropriate inventory levels, productivity levels, etc… in relation to established corporate targets;
Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy;
Prepares and submits damage claims, including all pictures and documentation, to Cohen’s on a regular basis and submits related reports the appropriate managers;
Works with the Customer Service Manager to ensure costs for damage claims are received;
Maintains warehouse cleanliness and security to ensure the safety of employees and the Company’s public (where customers are present);
Ensures daily compliance with all occupational safety and health (OSHA) guidelines as outlined in the Corporate health and safety policy manual;
Demonstrates effective leadership and management through selection, development and retention of highly productive warehouse and delivery personnel;
Coordinates regular and effective communication between the warehouse operations and all other corporate departments in support of a common focused strategy; and
Identifies, recommends and participates in training of warehouse personnel as may be required.
Helps with loading/unloading inventory;
Approve all freight bills
