Early Childhood Educator (Floater/Part-Time / On Call)

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a commitment to their development and well-being. As an ECE, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting classroom environment.
Build strong relationships with families through regular communication about their child’s progress and daily activities.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
Valid Alberta ECE Level 1 or 2 certification.
Previous experience working in a childcare setting is required.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Police Clearance Check with vulnerable sector search is required.
Salary and Benefits

Hourly Wages based on experience
Benefits provided within the first six months of employment.
