Job Description
Design, Development, re-factoring, extending of Abinitio ETL Oracle-file batch services.
8+ years of Abinitio ETL technology stack
5+ years of Oracle query design/refactor/optimization.
Knowledge and experience on DevOps is also mandatory
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in full life cycle of application/system development and Ab Initio platform support.
8-10+ years of hands on experience in ETL administration, on-call production support, configuration, automated deployment and performance optimization using Ab Initio.
Extensive hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, integration, deployment and implementation of interfaces in ETL using Ab-Initio.
Must have hands-on experience in supporting production and Operational issues of Ab Initio product and environment.
Very strong Unix shell scripting experience required.
Strong hands-on programming experience with SQL and Oracle databases administration.
Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written. Including ability to work with all management levels.
Must have proven ability to manage priorities and timelines.
Must have high integrity and accountability, willing to do what it takes to make the team successful.
Must be extremely responsive, able to work under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to share technical knowledge and clearly communicate technical concepts.
Experience with scheduling software such as autosys is a plus.
Experience in Talend is a plus.
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to develop Architecture vision and strategic architecture solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards and future industry demand.
Provide leadership to strengthen architecture review process, continuous maturity of architecture practices, architecture community of practices and tech debt management.
Create solution architecture artifact that are consistent with architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices with a goal of resilient and scalable cloud-based solutions.
Provides thought leadership in subjects that are key to the business and lead portfolio simplification strategies to rationalize application landscape.
Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to create innovative solutions
Conduct POC & POA on potential solutions with a failure fast mindset to drive target state
Communicate technology vision, strategies and solution across communities and cross functional teams.
Provide expert knowledge of architecture and serve as SME to cross functional teams
