HOUSEKEEPING AIDE (25-000067+)

Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR HRM
Status: Part Time TEMPORARY
Department: Environmental Services
Site: Hogarth Riverview Manor
Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends
Rate of Pay: $22.428 - $23.+3+ per hour


Qualifications:


Minimum Grade 12 required
Previous cleaning experience in a health care facility a definite asset
Must be in good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of the job
Must work both independently and as a part of a team
Able to operate all equipment
Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety regulations an asset
Ability to read and write English
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated regular attendance at work


CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-1+ vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date.
