Job Description

As part of a strategic reorganization, new management positions are available in the Accounting and Finance Department of Harnois Énergies. This new structure aims to create specialized teams that promote more targeted management and offer opportunities for professional development. Your future responsibilities as Director, Corporate Accounting will include:

Planning and supervising monthly and annual closings;
Being responsible for the consolidation of the company's various companies and ensuring the compliance of the financial statements;
Being responsible for the proper accounting of fixed assets, the monitoring of investments and the company's real estate division;
Take charge of the monitoring of account analyses and accounting as well as tax audits;
Consult with our external and internal experts to plan different tax strategies, such as asset rollovers;
Supervise the work of the employees in your department and provide the necessary support.

To be a Director, Corporate Accounting, you must:

Hold the CPA designation;
Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting or finance;
Have a good knowledge of corporate taxation, accounting standards relating to mergers and acquisitions, and internal control processes;
Be bilingual (French is required in order to communicate with our French-speaking clients and teams).
